The pipeline from the D-2 well is turned off by the Town of Palmer Lake. Water Supervisor, Steve Orcutt states the quality of the town’s drinking water is getting “murky” as a result of non-stop pumping. Twenty-seven acre feet of water has been pumped into the lake.
