Awake The Lake Committee meets with Monument Mayor Bryon Glenn to gather information on how the Town of Monument filled Monument Lake.

Awake The Lake Committee Project Manager Greg Cook sponsors the first Palmer Lake “Kids Fishing Derby.”

Awake The Lake Committee Chair, Jeff Hulsmann meets with a group of private individuals to discuss purchasing their senior water rights. Eventually the group withdraws its offer to sell.

Awake The Lake Committee members meet with the Colorado Water Conservation Board to negotiate storage rights for the lake.
